Q + A
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best semi-formal attire.
Can I bring a guest/date?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus-one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
Can I bring my children?
Unless your children are listed on your invite, we respectfully ask that you make other arrangements for your children for that evening. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by June 1 by using the RSVP tab in the menu. Our vendors require us to provide the final head-count by this date. Any unanswered RSVPs will be counted as a "No." Thank you for understanding.
What do I do if I can't make it?
We will miss you dearly! If you are not able to make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVP-ing "not attending" so we can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony in order to allow time for parking and find your way to the peninsula where we will be getting married.
What if I'm running late to the ceremony?
It happens! With that being said, if you are running late to the ceremony, please hang back near the venue until cocktail hour begins. We will join you shortly!
Where do I park?
There is a large parking lot at Adelaide Pointe right in front of the venue as well as free Valet Parking.
Can I Uber/Lyft to the venue?
Muskegon is not known for it's bountiful rideshares. While you may luck out in finding an Uber/Lyft TO the wedding, it's unlikely there will be any active drivers at the end of the night. Please plan accordingly.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
No. :)
Our ceremony will be entirely unplugged - once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best photos (which we will certainly share with you all!). Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place outdoors (weather permitting). Cocktail hour and the reception are both indoors with an open-air space and deck overlooking the lake.
